Qatar Chamber discusses organising business visit to Algeria

Qatar Chamber Chairman Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani recently met with Saleh Attia, Ambassador of Algeria to Qatar, at the Chamber’s headquarters. They discussed ways to strengthen economic and commercial ties between the two countries.

The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the private sectors of Qatar and Algeria. Additionally, they aimed to boost bilateral trade and encourage the establishment of joint ventures. These ventures would contribute to the growth of both economies.

During the meeting, Ambassador Attia extended an official invitation to the Chamber to lead a Qatari business and industrial delegation to Algeria. The proposed visit aims to explore Algeria’s investment climate and identify opportunities for Qatari companies. This is particularly relevant for those in the industrial sector, seeking expansion and access to new markets.

The meeting reflects ongoing efforts by both countries to deepen economic collaboration and promote private sector engagement in regional development.
