The King of Bahrain Receives Invitation from Iraqi President for Arab Summit and Economic Development Summit

The King of Bahrain, current Chairman of the Arab Summit, received an invitation from the President of Iraq to attend the 34th Ordinary Arab Summit and the 5th Economic and Social Development Summit. These summits are scheduled to take place in Baghdad, Iraq’s capital.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq delivered the invitation during a meeting at Al-Qudaibiya Palace. He conveyed the Iraqi President’s greetings, appreciation, and best wishes for Bahrain’s continued success. In response, the King thanked the President for the invitation. He also extended his greetings to the Iraqi President and people, wishing them prosperity.

The King emphasized the significance of the upcoming summits. He hopes they will promote decisions that strengthen Arab cooperation, encourage joint action, and protect the collective interests of the Arab nations. The King also highlighted the importance of fulfilling the aspirations of the Arab nations for development, peace, and prosperity. He praised the strong bilateral ties between Bahrain and Iraq, noting the cooperation in various fields.
