Bahrain and India Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Bilateral relations between Bahrain and India have been growing stronger in various sectors, showcasing mutual cooperation and shared interests. Recently, Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs in Bahrain, welcomed Vinod Kurian Jakoon, India’s Ambassador to Bahrain. This meeting highlighted the continued commitment of both nations to deepen their ties.

Sheikh Hisham expressed his appreciation for the longstanding relationship between the two countries. He emphasized that Bahrain and India are keen to strengthen cooperation across multiple fields. “Both nations share a deep-rooted partnership, and we are committed to enhancing this cooperation for mutual benefit,” said Sheikh Hisham. He also underscored the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration between the two countries to address shared challenges and opportunities.

Ambassador Vinod Kurian Jakoon, on the other hand, acknowledged Bahrain’s warm reception. He reiterated India’s strong commitment to nurturing the relationship with Bahrain. “The ties between Bahrain and India are vital for both our countries,” he stated. “We must continue to work together to improve and expand our cooperation in various sectors.”
