Kuwait Customs Foil Attempt to Smuggle Over 26 Kilograms of Narcotics via Air Cargo

Kuwait’s Air Cargo Customs Department has successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than 26 kilograms of illegal drugs concealed in a shipment arriving from a European country, according to local reports.

Authorities grew suspicious of an inbound package and subjected it to thorough inspection. Upon examination, customs officers discovered 12 kilograms of marijuana, 11.25 kilograms of hashish, and 3 kilograms of cocaine hidden within the parcel.

Officials immediately documented the case and took the necessary legal measures. The seized narcotics were handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal proceedings.
