Samaheej Sewage Network Project to Serve Over 300 Properties by Next Year

Plans to improve infrastructure in Bahrain’s Samaheej area are moving forward. According to municipal representative Fadel Al-Oud, authorities have finalized designs for a major sewage upgrade. The project will focus on the Samaheej sewage network in Block 234, targeting both the Fadel Al-Oud and Fadel Al-Oud North sections.

This important initiative is expected to benefit 325 properties. Preparations are in their final stages, and the tender will be announced next year.

Al-Oud explained that this project is not just a routine upgrade. It is part of a broader plan to improve public services and infrastructure across Muharraq. In fact, this development responds to ongoing sewage issues in the area, which have long needed attention.

Moreover, residents have repeatedly raised concerns about outdated pipes and overflowing drains. In response, officials prioritized the Samaheej sewage network within the region’s infrastructure development goals.

This project stands out for its scale and timing. While similar projects often face delays, this one has moved forward quickly. Officials have worked closely with engineers and planners to avoid setbacks. As a result, detailed designs are already complete.

Al-Oud confirmed that once tenders are issued, work will begin without delay. Authorities want to ensure families in Samaheej enjoy safe and reliable sewage services soon.

In addition, the initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to modernizing essential services. Every upgrade matters when it improves daily life for citizens. And this particular project sets a strong example for future infrastructure planning.

With progress visible and goals clearly set, the Samaheej sewage network project is gaining public support. Soon, 325 properties will see the benefits of improved sewage systems, cleaner surroundings, and better health outcomes.
