Bahraini Youth Embrace Global Women’s Empowerment Award

Bahraini youth are showing strong interest in the third edition of the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women’s Empowerment. This award, although Bahraini in origin, has gained international respect. It honors institutions and individuals that advance the status of women in meaningful ways.

Young Bahrainis believe the award helps spread powerful messages of equality and opportunity. More importantly, it highlights real success stories. These stories encourage others to support women’s roles in development. Above all, the award offers a global platform for showcasing efforts in empowering youth for women’s progress.

A Strong Connection Between Youth and Change

Civil society expert Mohammed Al-Murbati believes the award builds bridges between youth and positive change. According to him, the award boosts young people’s hopes to become active in shaping a fairer society. He also believes that each edition has inspired others to take part in impactful efforts.

Al-Murbati pointed out that many young people grow through experiences related to the award. They learn, engage, and contribute to women’s empowerment in real ways. This reflects a strong local vision focused on empowering youth for women’s progress.

Women as Global Partners for the Future

Teacher Zainab Saeed Salman, recently named one of the world’s top 50 teachers, shared her views. She sees the award as a shining example of Bahrain’s global commitment to gender equality. It encourages the next generation to create solutions and lead change.

She added that young people should not limit their efforts to Bahrain alone. Instead, they should join international efforts that focus on justice and sustainability. By doing so, they can help in empowering youth for women’s progress.

A Vision for Inclusive Development

Youth Committee member Noura Al Mansouri said the award inspires new dreams with every cycle. It drives young people to think creatively and take action. These actions contribute directly to building a more balanced society.

In her view, real empowerment means involving women in every step of development. The award reminds youth that their voices and efforts matter. As they continue their journey, they help shape a more just and equal world.
