Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced its operating hours for the Eid Al Fitr holiday. Emergency services will continue to operate 24/7, ensuring uninterrupted care for urgent medical needs.
Emergency and Essential Services Open 24/7
• All emergency departments will remain open around the clock.
• Pediatric Emergency Centers will operate 24/7 for children under 14.
• The Ambulance Service will be available 24/7 for medical emergencies.
• The Nesma’ak 16060 call center and the 16000 Government Healthcare Hotline will operate without interruption.
Outpatient and Specialized Services Adjusted
• All HMC outpatient clinics will close from March 30 to April 5. Some clinics will reopen on April 6 and 7, with full services resuming on April 8.
• Patients with scheduled appointments during Eid will be contacted if there are any changes.
• The Urgent Consultation Service (16000) will close on March 30 and reopen on April 8.
• Pharmacy Home Delivery Service (16000) will also be unavailable from March 30 to April 8.
• The National Mental Health Helpline (16000) will be closed for the first three days of Eid.
• Therapeutic Dietetics and Nutrition Services (16060) will be closed on the first day of Eid but will open from 7 AM to 12 PM afterward.
Blood Donation Services
• The Qatar National Blood Donation Center will close for the first two days of Eid but will resume operations from 9 AM to 9 PM.
• The City Center Mobile Blood Donation Camp will be open daily from 3 PM to 8 PM.
HMC advises patients to plan accordingly and assures the public that emergency care remains fully accessible throughout the holiday.
