Qatar, Palestine Discuss Education Sector Challenges

Doha – Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met with Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Amjad Barham in Doha on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories. The discussions focused on the challenges facing Palestine’s education sector and explored potential solutions to support students and educational institutions amid ongoing difficulties.

Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation in education and providing necessary support to ensure access to quality education for Palestinian students.
