Ministry of Culture Hosts ‘Al Razji’ Event at Darb Al Saai

Doha – The Ministry of Culture has launched the ‘Al Razji’ event at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal, celebrating Qatari heritage and national identity. The event, which runs until March 14, aligns with the spirit of Ramadan. It offers visitors an immersive cultural experience.

Al Razji features several dedicated areas, including Al Rumaila and Al Bidda. There is also the “Eid Joy” gift distribution zone known as Garangao. The event includes exhibitions and workshops showcasing traditional crafts and customs.

Abdullah Al Ghanem, who oversees the heritage corridor, highlighted its focus on preserving Qatar’s cultural traditions. Visitors can explore sections dedicated to goldsmithing, women’s attire, and traditional music. A special sound zone allows attendees to listen to Ramadan chants and songs associated with Garangao and other local celebrations.

Al Razji blends heritage with modern experiences, offering cultural exhibits, traditional performances, and popular Qatari cuisine. The event provides a vibrant atmosphere where families and visitors can embrace the authenticity of Qatari traditions.

The public is welcome to attend from 7:30 p.m. until midnight. It is an ideal Ramadan outing for those eager to connect with Qatar’s rich cultural legacy.
