Oman Signs Tourism Agreements at ITB Berlin 2025

Oman successfully concluded its participation in the 2025 International Tourism Fair (ITB) Berlin. The event marked a significant milestone, with Oman signing multiple agreements and launching partnership programs. These programs focus on promoting joint tourism packages and supporting sustainable tourism development.

The Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at ITB Berlin attracted a large number of visitors. It highlighted the country’s diverse tourism offerings and rich heritage. Additionally, it showcased investment opportunities, services, and programs offered by Omani companies attending the event. These elements underscored Oman’s growing potential as a global tourism destination.

During the event, Omani tourism partners held several bilateral meetings with international counterparts. These discussions focused on strategies to implement joint programs that attract global markets to Oman. The goal is to enhance the tourism sector by promoting Oman’s tourism products as ideal choices for international visitors.

The participating Omani establishments also presented their plans to support tourism. These included offerings from hotels, resorts, and integrated tourism complexes. Their efforts reflect a commitment to providing top-tier services and experiences for visitors.

Saada bint Abdullah Al Harthi, Director of the Department of Market Development at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, emphasized the importance of cooperation. She noted that this collaboration strengthens Oman’s tourism sector, making it an attractive destination for global businesses. The participation in ITB Berlin aligns with the Ministry’s strategy and supports Oman’s broader national vision.

Furthermore, Al Harthi reiterated that the fair served as a platform for engaging with international tourism markets. It also helped boost Oman’s presence in the global tourism industry. The event offered numerous opportunities to build relationships with tourism companies from around the world.
