National Panel on International Humanitarian Law Holds First 2025 Meeting

The National Committee for International Humanitarian Law convened its first meeting of 2025 at the Ministry of Justice headquarters. The session was chaired by HE Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Chairperson of the Committee.

During the meeting, Al Suwaidi praised the committee members for their efforts and contributions in previous sessions. He highlighted the success of various activities and events organized as part of the committee’s work program.

The session also focused on planning future initiatives. Members discussed the agenda for 2025, outlining proposed activities aimed at strengthening the committee’s role in promoting international humanitarian law.
