UAE Showcases World’s Most Expensive Gold Dress

The United Arab Emirates has unveiled what is being described as the world’s most expensive gold dress at a major jewellery exhibition in Dubai, highlighting the country’s growing prominence in luxury design and craftsmanship.

The piece, presented at the 57th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, was created by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery and weighs more than 10 kilogrammes of pure 21-karat gold. It carries a reported value of around AED5 million and has been recognised by Guinness World Records.

Manufactured in the UAE, the dress is being showcased as a centrepiece of the exhibition, drawing attention from visitors and industry specialists alike.

The event also features participation from leading regional and international jewellery houses, each presenting exclusive collections that combine modern design with traditional craftsmanship.

Alongside the gold dress, Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery has introduced new limited-edition collections launched specifically for the exhibition.

Other exhibitors are also using the platform to unveil high-value designs, including diamond collections, pearl jewellery, and bespoke pieces aimed at the luxury market.

Organisers say the show continues to serve as a key platform for innovation in the jewellery sector, reflecting the UAE’s position as a regional hub for high-end retail and design.

The exhibition runs as part of the wider regional jewellery calendar, attracting designers, investors and buyers from across the Gulf and beyond.
