QatarEnergy Recognizes Long-Serving Employees at ‘My Legacy’ Ceremony

Doha, Qatar

QatarEnergy honored its long-serving employees in a special recognition event. They celebrated career milestones of 30, 35, and 40 years of service. Additionally, three employees reached an impressive 45 years of continuous dedication.

The ‘My Legacy’ ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President & CEO of QatarEnergy. The event highlighted the employees’ contributions to the company’s remarkable growth.

In his address, Minister Al Kaabi praised the honorees for their role in the transformation of QatarEnergy. The company grew from its origins as Qatar General Petroleum Corporation to its current status as a global leader in LNG. It is also a top exporter of ammonia, urea, and helium.

“You have been integral to our journey in making QatarEnergy one of the most prominent energy companies worldwide,” he stated. He emphasized upcoming landmark projects that will expand LNG production capacity to 160 million tons annually. These projects will also advance Qatar’s environmental sustainability through new solar power initiatives in Ras Laffan and Mesaieed.

Minister Al Kaabi attributed the company’s achievements to the dedication of its workforce and strong leadership. He concluded by expressing gratitude to the employees and their families for their unwavering support and commitment to QatarEnergy’s success.
