DOHA: The Ras Abrouq desert activation, organized by Visit Qatar, successfully concluded after attracting more than 55,000 visitors over a span of 60 days.
In a statement on Sunday, Visit Qatar highlighted that the event offered a unique blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences. These experiences were within the Al Reem Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in northwest Qatar.
The activation featured 29 entertainment performances, including optical illusion shows and storytelling sessions. Additionally, there were 17 interactive workshops and nine different activities designed to engage visitors of all ages.
The initiative aimed to promote Qatar’s natural heritage and ecotourism while providing an immersive experience for both residents and tourists.
