Zain Bahrain Rolls Out 5G-Enabled Smart Street Lighting in Durrat Al Bahrain

Zain Bahrain has successfully deployed advanced 5G-enabled street lighting solutions in Durrat Al Bahrain. This marks a significant step toward smart city development. The initiative, carried out in collaboration with LSS Technologies, aims to enhance network coverage and provide seamless connectivity. All this, while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the area.

This cutting-edge solution integrates modern technology with urban infrastructure. It supports Zain Bahrain’s sustainability objectives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project contributes to sustainable urban development, infrastructure innovation, and efficient resource consumption.

Zain Bahrain Managing Director Mohammed Zainalabedin highlighted the importance of the initiative. He stated, “The implementation of 5G-enabled street lighting in Durrat Al Bahrain is a milestone in our efforts to expand advanced connectivity across the Kingdom. This project enhances network coverage and ensures faster, more reliable service for our customers.”
