Sharjah and Oman Mark Eid Al Etihad with Border Unity Celebration

The UAE and Oman celebrated Eid Al Etihad with strong border unity, and the event highlighted their close relationship at the Khatmat Malaha crossing. The introduction of warm cultural moments also strengthened border unity and brought a shared spirit to the celebration.

The Organisational Committee of Ports and Border Points in Sharjah joined the national celebration in Oman. The General Secretariat for National Celebrations and the Royal Oman Police hosted the event. Senior officials from both sides attended the programme and welcomed the warm atmosphere. The gathering showcased the strong relationship between the two nations, and it also reflected decades of cooperation.

The programme included many vibrant segments, and every part of it carried a special message. First, the Royal Oman Police Band performed musical pieces for the audience. Their performance created a joyful mood and connected everyone through art. Then, a video presentation showed the celebration held earlier in Al Khuwair Square. After that, the audience enjoyed a musical performance titled “Bonds of Love,” and the piece highlighted emotional ties between the two nations. A student group also performed, bringing youthful energy to the event. Later, the Royal Oman Navy Band offered more music, and the melodies filled the venue with excitement.

National songs followed, and they carried messages of friendship and loyalty. These songs reflected the special nature of Eid Al Etihad and the shared values of both countries. The warm energy grew stronger with every performance, and the spirit of cooperation stayed at the heart of the programme.

The Sharjah delegation included key officials from ports, border points, and municipal sectors. They joined the celebration with enthusiasm and expressed strong support for regional cooperation. They also highlighted the importance of cultural connection and long-standing friendship.

During the celebration, the participants emphasized historical, social, and cultural ties between the UAE and Oman. They praised the organising bodies for creating a memorable programme. They also noted that such occasions strengthen values of love, solidarity, and mutual respect. These values help both nations grow stronger every year and encourage deeper cooperation.

As part of community engagement, the Organisational Committee distributed commemorative gifts to travelers. They handed out gifts at the Khatmat Malaha crossing, the Al Madam crossing, and the Dibba Al Hisn border points. The gesture reflected kindness, harmony, and neighborliness. It also reinforced border unity and encouraged a stronger sense of friendship between both nations.
