Bahrain Prepares for a Major Chemistry Gathering at the 4th National Forum

Bahrain is gearing up for a significant scientific gathering as the Bahraini Chemical Society prepares to launch the fourth National Chemistry Forum. This important event will take place on November 29, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Manama. The forum aims to highlight national achievements while also supporting scientific growth through collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The Minister of Social Development will attend the opening, which reflects the country’s growing interest in scientific advancement. Furthermore, the organizers expect strong participation from many sectors, which strengthens the forum’s value for researchers and students. Hussain Al-Halwaji, Chairman of the Bahraini Chemical Society, shared that the event attracts major interest each year. He explained that the forum gains momentum because it brings together experts from many branches of chemistry. He also noted that the diverse scientific papers offer valuable insights for participants across different fields.

Al-Halwaji confirmed that nine national entities will take part in this year’s edition. These include Aluminium Bahrain, Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Bapco Energies, the Public Prosecution’s Forensic Science Laboratory, Danat Pearl and Gemstone Laboratory, ExpressMed Laboratory, the University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, and the Supreme Council for Environment. Each entity contributes unique expertise, which, in turn, enriches the overall scientific atmosphere.

Moreover, the event will feature a mini-exhibition showcasing new and used books related to chemistry. The exhibition also includes scientific displays that highlight recent developments and useful tools for students and professionals. This addition creates an accessible space for learning while also encouraging broader community engagement.

Additionally, the forum will take place under the sponsorship of Advanced Laboratories, ExpressMed, and Al Mashreq Training. Their support reflects a shared commitment to supporting scientific growth and enhancing Bahrain’s scientific environment. Their involvement also encourages more institutions to contribute to national scientific progress.

The National Chemistry Forum continues to grow each year because it promotes meaningful discussions and practical insights. It also builds strong connections between academic institutions, industry leaders, and government bodies. Bahrain strengthens its scientific community through consistent collaboration, and every new edition of the forum reinforces this effort. Ultimately, this event plays a vital role in supporting scientific growth and advancing Bahrain’s position in regional scientific development.
