Bahrain and Germany Strengthen Ties Through Government Communication Cooperation

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre, Ahmed Khalid Al Arifi, met with Henning Georg Simon, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bahrain. The meeting highlighted the growing Bahrain-Germany cooperation, especially in the field of government communication and public relations.

Al Arifi emphasized that relations between Bahrain and Germany continue to grow stronger in several areas. He pointed out that both nations share a commitment to mutual understanding and progress. Moreover, he expressed optimism about expanding coordination and collaboration in government communication, noting that such cooperation plays a vital role in modern diplomacy.

He also stated that Bahrain aims to learn from global experiences and adapt best practices in communication strategies. According to him, Bahrain-Germany cooperation could lead to valuable knowledge exchange and innovative approaches in this field. He stressed that sharing expertise will help both countries advance their communication frameworks and support national development goals.

During the discussion, Al Arifi underlined that Bahrain values partnerships with friendly nations that prioritize transparency and dialogue. He added that the National Communication Centre is working to enhance its international collaborations and foster meaningful relationships that benefit both sides.

In turn, Simon expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s openness and willingness to collaborate. He praised the ongoing partnership between the two nations and affirmed Germany’s readiness to support future initiatives. He also highlighted how Bahrain-Germany cooperation can create new opportunities in technology, education, and cultural exchange.

Both sides agreed that continued dialogue is essential for long-term success. They discussed future plans for workshops and knowledge-sharing programs that would further strengthen ties. These programs aim to develop innovative communication tools and enhance government-media relations.
