Oman Air and Turkish Airlines have launched a new frequent flyer partnership to enhance travel rewards for their global loyalty members. This agreement, effective from August 1, 2025, connects both airlines’ networks and increases earning opportunities for passengers. As a result, travelers will enjoy broader mileage accrual across a wider range of destinations.
Through this frequent flyer partnership, Turkish Airlines’ Miles&Smiles members can now earn miles when flying to Muscat, Salalah, and Khasab. They can also access Oman Air’s full network. At the same time, Oman Air’s Sindbad members gain access to Turkish Airlines’ extensive global routes, covering Türkiye, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Americas.
Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Oman Air, said this frequent flyer partnership strengthens Sindbad’s value while expanding the airline’s international reach. He emphasized that it reflects the carrier’s commitment to delivering more rewarding travel experiences.
Similarly, Ahmet Olmuştur, Chief Commercial Officer at Turkish Airlines, welcomed the agreement. He noted that the frequent flyer partnership will simplify global journeys for both leisure and business travelers. He also highlighted that it allows members to create memorable travel stories across diverse destinations.
The cooperation shows both airlines’ dedication to providing exceptional benefits to their passengers. Additionally, Oman Air continues to expand its global presence by adding new destinations such as Rome and Amsterdam. It has also increased flight frequencies on popular routes to London and Moscow. Furthermore, the airline is strengthening codeshare agreements with other major international carriers.
By combining their loyalty programmes, Oman Air and Turkish Airlines offer customers a chance to earn and redeem miles more effectively. This move also encourages travelers to explore new regions while maintaining their preferred loyalty status.
Looking ahead, both airlines expect this agreement to drive stronger customer engagement and brand loyalty. They believe the frequent flyer partnership will attract more travelers seeking value, flexibility, and access to premium global networks. As travel demand grows, this collaboration positions both carriers to meet evolving passenger needs while expanding their competitive edge worldwide.
