Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), has concluded a series of high-level meetings with key military officials in Iran as part of his official visit to the country.
During his visit, Vice Admiral Al Raisi met with Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces. The two military leaders engaged in discussions on a range of matters of mutual interest, focusing on strengthening bilateral military relations.
In addition, the Omani military chief held talks with Maj. Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, where they addressed topics related to defense cooperation and regional security.
The visit also included a meeting with Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Iranian Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics. The two sides explored opportunities for enhanced military collaboration, with a particular focus on fostering ties between the armed forces of Oman and Iran. The meeting was attended by senior officers from both nations, including the Omani Ambassador to Iran, who was present during discussions with General Nasirzadeh.
These meetings reflect ongoing efforts to deepen military cooperation between Oman and Iran, underlining both nations’ commitment to stability and security in the region.
