Humanitarian Air Support: UAE Delivers 60th Airdrop to Gaza

Humanitarian air support remains at the forefront of the United Arab Emirates’ relief operations for Gaza. On Thursday, the UAE completed its 60th airdrop as part of “Operation Birds of Goodness,” falling under the broader framework of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.” Jordan, along with France, Germany, and Italy, jointly contributed to achieving this milestone with the UAE.

Importantly, these airdrops deliver aid to areas currently unreachable by land due to challenging field conditions. Each mission provides urgently needed supplies such as food items and essential humanitarian materials. Consequently, the operations aim to sustain communities facing severe shortages and medical emergencies.

With the latest airdrop completed, the total volume of humanitarian air support has surpassed 3,807 tonnes. This figure includes food, water, and emergency relief materials specifically allocated to assist Palestinian civilians in the most vulnerable regions of the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, the UAE coordinated with the World Health Organization to dispatch 22 medical aid trucks into Gaza on the same day. These vehicles carried vital medicines, surgical tools, and other healthcare supplies to replenish overburdened hospitals and treatment centers.

Moreover, the latest effort reflects the UAE’s sustained commitment to humanitarian values. Officials emphasized that the aid is meant to directly alleviate suffering and stabilize healthcare operations under enormous strain.

Throughout this operation, the UAE has underscored its long-standing approach to international humanitarian engagement. The ongoing humanitarian air support also strengthens its cooperative ties with regional and global partners in delivering timely aid to crisis zones.

In conclusion, the UAE continues to prioritize humanitarian air support as a core component of its Gaza relief strategy. With every airdrop and medical delivery, the nation reinforces its role as a dependable responder in times of conflict and hardship.
