Qatar Innovation Program Empowers Youth with AI Skills

In Doha, the Qatar innovation program “Shaping the Future of Innovation” officially launched to help youth master modern technologies. Moreover, the Behavioral Healthcare Center (Daam), part of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, partnered with the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) to lead this impactful initiative.

The youth-focused Qatar tech initiative targets participants aged 14 to 19. Furthermore, it works to enhance behavioral health while guiding young people in using artificial intelligence for impactful community projects. As a result, the program fosters both technological skills and a strong sense of social responsibility.

Through the Qatar innovation program, participants engaged in highly interactive workshops led by experienced AI and digital design experts. In addition, they learned to create youth-led awareness campaigns using AI tools to produce both visual and interactive messages. Consequently, the workshops combined practical skills with a deeper understanding of how technology can drive positive change.

The training in the Qatar innovation program covered several key areas. For example, participants learned to design digital awareness platforms, build impactful presentations, and use modern tools to engage audiences. In this way, the blend of technical expertise and behavioral insight enables youth to address social topics creatively and effectively.

Jawaher Abu Alfain, Director of Community Awareness at Daam, explained the vision behind the Qatar innovation program. She emphasized that giving young people space for creative expression through technology is vital for shaping future leaders. Moreover, she added that the program reflects a strong commitment to creativity, problem-solving, and purposeful innovation.

The Qatar innovation program also stands out for integrating digital transformation with behavioral health messaging. Therefore, it ensures that technology serves as both a skillset and a tool to address important community issues.

Organizers believe the Qatar innovation program will help build a generation that uses technology responsibly. In fact, graduates of the program will gain the skills to design meaningful digital content that has a real impact. Additionally, the program actively promotes teamwork, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas among youth from diverse backgrounds.

Daam confirmed that the Qatar innovation program forms part of a broader strategy to prepare youth for the challenges and opportunities of the digital era. Consequently, merging innovation with social impact ensures that technological growth aligns with community values and sustainable development goals.

The Qatar innovation program will continue with further workshops and activities. Ultimately, these will give participants greater confidence, enhanced skills, and stronger leadership abilities in an ever-changing world.
