Qatar-KRG Partnership Strengthens Through Praise for Service Projects

In a farewell meeting held in Erbil, Qatar’s outgoing Consul General, Hussain Bin Ali Al-Fadala, met with Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani. During the meeting, they reflected on diplomatic progress and expressed mutual support for deeper ties.

Al-Fadala praised the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for its service projects, highlighting the successful 24-hour water and electricity initiative. This project reflects the KRG’s determination to improve infrastructure and meet public needs.

Prime Minister Barzani thanked the Qatari envoy for his contributions and expressed hope for stronger relations in the future. He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between Erbil and Doha.
