Bahrain Stock Market Closes on a Positive Note

The Bahrain All Share Index recorded an increase, closing at 1,898.47 points. This reflects a gain of 11.42 points compared to the previous session. The upward movement was driven by growth in the Consumer Goods, Financial, Industrial, and Basic Materials sectors.

Similarly, the Bahrain Islamic Index saw a modest rise, closing at 791.86 points, marking an increase of 0.24 points.

The total trading volume for the day reached 1,734,797 shares, with a combined market value of 717,101 Bahraini Dinars. A total of 84 transactions were executed during the session.

Investor interest was notably high in the non-Bahraini companies sector. This sector accounted for 42.02% of the total value of traded securities. It reflects strong participation in this segment of the market.
