Bahrain Tennis Federation Signs Cooperation Agreement with Serbian Academy

The Bahrain Tennis Federation has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Serbian tennis academy to enhance collaboration and exchange expertise in the sport. This initiative aligns with the Federation’s ongoing efforts to develop tennis in the Kingdom and improve player performance through international partnerships.

The agreement was formalized by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Tennis Federation, and Janko Tipsarević, head of the Serbian academy. The signing ceremony was attended by Federation Secretary General Fouad Al-Ruwaie and academy representative Darko Plavtic.

The partnership aims to support training programs, enhance technical and physical skills, and provide Bahraini players with access to advanced coaching methodologies. The Serbian academy, recognized for its specialized training programs, is expected to contribute significantly to the development of local talent.

This agreement is part of the Federation’s broader strategy to establish long-term collaborations with leading international academies. By integrating world-class training techniques, Bahraini players across various age groups will have the opportunity to compete at higher levels and achieve sporting excellence.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa emphasized that the partnership marks an important step in advancing the sport in Bahrain. He highlighted the value of working with renowned global academies, noting that the Serbian institution is led by a former top-ranked player with extensive experience in nurturing young talent.

The Bahrain Tennis Federation remains committed to elevating the sport through strategic initiatives, international expertise, and professional training environments. The collaboration is expected to play a crucial role in preparing Bahraini athletes for regional and global competitions.
