TechStride Program Empowers Bahraini Youth with Practical Tech Skills

TechStride program in Bahrain continues to empower young minds through hands-on training in advanced technologies. The National Bank of Bahrain launched the second edition in partnership with Fab Lab Bahrain. The initiative aims to build a generation skilled in innovation and real-world problem-solving.

This year’s edition runs from July 12 to August 21, 2025. It targets students aged 15 to 24 from both high schools and universities. A total of 60 participants joined the program after a selective admission process. Organizers divided the students into groups to improve collaboration and project execution.

Each group completes 48 hours of training weekly across six weeks. Sessions take place three times a week for four hours each. This consistent schedule strengthens creative thinking and deepens understanding in a structured environment.

Moreover, the TechStride program in Bahrain uses a project-based learning model. Students actively apply theory to practice through fields like robotics, AI, and game development. Organizers selected candidates based on interviews, project ideas, and passion for innovation.
