MoCI Virtual Assistant Enhances Digital Services and Business Registration in Qatar

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) continues to lead digital innovation in Qatar. It has launched AI-based tools to improve public services and support business growth, including the MoCI virtual assistant which enhances user interaction.

Recently, MoCI introduced two smart tools: ‘Smart Assistant’ on its Single Window platform and ‘Saif’ on its website and mobile app. These new services aim to make digital services faster, easier, and more interactive.

MoCI shared the update through a post on its official X platform. The post stated that Saif will guide users as they establish businesses with ease and convenience. At the same time, the Smart Assistant helps users during registration by recommending suitable business activities and checking trade name availability instantly, which are functionalities supported by the virtual assistant.

The MoCI virtual assistant tools reduce wait time, save effort, and support users around the clock. These services also support chat through text and voice, ensuring a smooth, real-time experience.

Importantly, both tools form part of a wider digital transformation strategy. MoCI aims to create smarter, more user-friendly public services that improve investor satisfaction.

The Smart Assistant helps users when selecting business activities during company registration. Meanwhile, Saif offers help through every step—from accessing services to submitting complaints and understanding consumer rights.

MoCI virtual assistant tools were built in partnership with Microsoft, using cutting-edge artificial intelligence. They offer users quick answers, clear directions, and complete guidance without the need to speak to a staff member.

In addition, the single dashboard interface on the MoCI platform simplifies business setup. Users can access multiple services in one place, track all transactions, and manage documents through a digital archive.

MoCI virtual assistant also highlights investment opportunities and licensing steps. It provides full details about each commercial activity, helping investors choose what fits their goals while utilizing the virtual assistant’s insightful features.

Overall, these smart tools aim to speed up service delivery, raise efficiency, and set a new standard for digital government. As part of a broader mission to modernize public services, MoCI’s platform offers a powerful step toward smarter governance in Qatar.
